The observation deck is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight daily, April through October, and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight November through March. Admission is $24 for adults, $15 for children between 3 and 11 years old, and free for children under 3 years old. Additional fees are required for telescopes and photo packages.
To reach the observation deck, visitors must first pass through the 86th floor information center where staff will be able to give you advice on what to see and do in the city. After passing this check-in, visitors will be escorted up one flight of stairs to the viewing platform. There are no elevators operating within the building; instead, guests may use the winding staircase located near the front entrance. A staff member is present at the top of the stairs at all times to direct you to any missing items in your luggage.
