The paradise garden is a type of garden of Old Iranian heritage, notably the Achaemenid, that is formal, symmetrical, and enclosed most of the time. The most typical style is a rectangular garden divided into four parts with a pond in the center, known as chahar bagh ("four gardens").
The word "paradise" here is used metaphorically to describe an ideal world where humans are free from pain and suffering. But it's also where you find the happiest people on earth who have no worries at all.
In terms of design, these gardens were very complex and required many different types of plants and flowers. They often included small pools with water lilies, bridges over streams, and various other structures such as pyramids or large flat rocks with inscriptions on them.
There are several theories about how this type of garden came about but the most popular one is that it was designed by King Cyrus II of Persia (r. 558-529 B.C.) as a gift for his son Astyages. According to this story, King Cyrus was unhappy with the state of his kingdom at the time and wanted his son to see what a perfect place the ancient Iranians had created. So he sent him off with a few trusted advisors to create this garden without telling them what kind of country they were going to. When young Astyages saw this beautiful garden, he asked his father why they were there.
Bagh-e Babur is classified as an Islamic garden. Despite the fact that philosophical, sociological, and political features may be similar, Islamic gardens subscribe to layers of meaning founded in religious symbolism that distinguish them from their European equivalents. The name "Bagh-e Babur" refers to a vast imperial garden created at the Mughal emperor Babur's request.
In the 15th century, the great Mughal emperor Babur asked his architect to design a garden where he could find peace and solitude to reflect on life. The result was the beautifully landscaped Bagh-e Babur, now a public park in the center of Kabul.
The garden's name means "the paradise", but also alludes to stories about the angel Babur who appeared before him to ask him to build her a house in which she could live with her servants. The emperor agreed, and the garden was built accordingly. It consists of several sections including a lake, a mausoleum, a mosque, and many other structures including fountains and trees. The garden has been maintained by the city authorities since its creation in the early 20th century.
Islamic gardens were designed to embody different ideas found in Islam. The word "garden" comes from the Arabic word "gardan", which means "park".
The Edenic Garden In the Old Testament Book of Genesis, the Garden of Eden is a biblical earthly paradise inhabited by the first created man and woman, Adam and Eve, prior to their banishment for breaking God's commands. The Garden of Yahweh, the God of Israel, and the Garden of God in Ezekiel are other names for it. Christians believe that Jesus Christ will one day resurrect the dead, including Adam and Eve, and bring them back to life. However, there is no reference to this Garden in the New Testament.
In Islam, paradise is a place where people will live out their days in peace and happiness after death. Paradise can only be reached through belief in God and prayers for those who have died. There is no mention of an original paradise lost in the Bible nor anything similar found in Muslim texts.
In Hinduism, paradise is known as Naraka. It is a place of eternal bliss and beauty located in a subterranean world beneath the earth. But because humans acted with greed and hatred, they went to suffer in Naraka forever. However, those who follow the path of karma will eventually reach enlightenment and be released from this miserable realm.
In Judaism, there is no concept of paradise or hell. But Torah teaches that if people do not act righteously, then they will go to a place called "Gehenna" where they will be tormented for eternity.
So, these are all popular views of paradise.

Even if you use real plants instead of gravel or dirt, these gardens are still referred to as Courtyards.
They were very popular in Europe and some parts of Asia where people didn't have enough space for a full-scale garden. Instead of an empty square or area, they used rocks, water, and small plants that would grow between the stones or walls. These small, self-contained spaces were perfect for adding color and life to an otherwise boring environment.
Today, courtyard gardens are making a comeback because we love the idea of bringing beauty even into an urban setting. There are several ways to create your own little courtyard garden. You can use containers, planters, and other objects like furniture or art that you can decorate with flowers and herbs. Some people even put a table and chairs inside their courtyard garden for a little get-together during parties or events.
