Radio wave tower in general The N Seoul Tower, which is now a symbol of Seoul, was built at the highest point to allow people to see the most magnificent images of the city. It is also Korea's first universal radio wave tower, having served the metropolitan region with TV and radio broadcasts since 1969.
It was also one of the first buildings in Korea to be illuminated by electronic lights. The original lights were replaced in 1995 but they were again replaced in 2005 by new LED lights that use 75% less energy than the old ones.
The N Seoul Tower is located in Yeouido, a district of South Seoul. It stands 328 meters (1,073 feet) high and has an observation deck at the top called “Seoul City Hall”. There are also restaurants and shops on the 89th floor observatory.
People from all over the world come to see the view from the top of this building. In addition, the tower itself is a work of art - it looks like a laser light show when it turns off its lights at night.
Named after the first female president of South Korea, Park Geun-Hye, the tower was originally planned to be named “Seoul World Trade Center&rdquate; but this plan was later changed.
Namsan Seoul Tower, perched atop Namsan Mountain in the city's heart, is the city's most recognizable landmark. The tower attracts people all year and is well known for its nocturnal perspective of the city. It is located near many other interesting attractions including Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, Bukhansanseong Fortress, and more.
Other popular destinations include Ilsan Science Town, which features four science centers that highlight technology, medicine, environment protection, and space exploration; Daejeon Culture & Arts Village, with more than 500 traditional buildings from across South Korea built using local materials; and Muju Bamboo Forest, one of only three remaining natural forests in South Korea.
Korea is known for its beautiful beaches, many of which are located within an hour's drive of the capital. Some of the best-known beaches are those of Jeollanam-do, where you will find warm seas and white sand; Gangwon-do, home to trendy resorts such as Haeundae Beach and world-class ski facilities; and South Jeolla, with its clear waters and lush islands.

Tokyo Tower, a symbol of Japan's postwar revival as a great economic power, was the country's tallest building from its construction in 1958 until it was overtaken by the Tokyo Skytree in 2012. Aside from being a renowned tourist attraction, Tokyo Tower also acts as a broadcast antenna. The elevator to the top of the tower is still operated using original technology from when it opened in 1963.
Construction on Tokyo Tower began in 1957 and was completed six years later at a cost of $150 million ($1.5 billion in 2016 dollars). At 1,084 feet (332 meters), it was at the time of its completion the tallest structure in the world outside of North America. It has since been beaten by Canada's CN Tower but remains the current Japanese record holder.
The idea for Tokyo Tower came about after the success of New York City's World Trade Center. A group of Japanese investors decided to create an equivalent tower for Tokyo with a height of 1,000 feet (300 meters). They hired Kisho Kurokawa, a famous architect at that time, to design the tower. The main purpose of this new tower would be to display television broadcasts from Japan back then. The TV station chosen for this task was Nippon Hoso Kyokai or NHK, which is Japan's national public broadcasting organization. NHK needed a new headquarters and tower where they could expand their network across Japan, and thus Tokyo Tower was born.
The Tokyo Tower (Dong Jing tawa, Tokyo tawa, formally Ri Ben Dian Bo Ta Nippon Denpa, "Japan Radio Tower") is a communications and observation tower in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is the world's tallest free-standing radio tower, at 324 metres (1,045 ft) high.
Construction on the tower began on March 14, 1958, and it was completed six years later at a cost of $15 million. The original idea for a radio telescope went back as early as 1946, but it wasn't until 1957 that funding became available. The main purpose for building this telescope was to make extensive use of electronic technology in order to overcome atmospheric turbulence that can cause interference to radio transmissions.
After its completion, the Tokyo Tower became one of Japan's most popular attractions with over 10 million visitors per year. The observation deck is located at the top of the tower while the radio transmission facility is located at the bottom. There are also two other decks accessible from inside the tower: an elevator ride up to the 350-metre-high main restaurant provides views across much of Tokyo, while another elevator takes visitors down to the 100-metre-high third floor gaming room.
The Tokyo Tower has been used for many types of broadcasts including commercial radio, television, public service announcements, and emergency alerts.
Tokyo Tower was built as a transmission tower in 1958. The tower also collects data on weather and air pollution. Its lights are visible for many miles around.
In addition to being a landmark of Tokyo, it is also famous around the world for being the tallest free-standing structure in the world. The top of the tower is revolving in order to allow people to see all parts of Tokyo from the observation deck.
You can reach the top of Tokyo Tower by elevator for $5 per person or take the cheaper option of the sightseeing tour which includes admission fees and shows throughout the day. There are several shows each with a different theme, but they are all similar and include music, drama, and comedy performances. The show lasts about an hour and 15 minutes and gives you a good overview of Japanese culture.
You can stay at the top hotel if you want to, but it's expensive at $200 per person per night. Alternatively, you can stay in one of the cheaper hotels near by for $80 per person per night.
