When I built the Rectangle floor plan in November 2010, I had the concept. In 2011, 3D design was incorporated. A Triangle floor plan was also created, but it was never released. Then, in 2015, I updated both the Rectangle and Triangle versions, floor plan and 3D, in a more attractive blend of neoclassicism and postmodernism. These plans are now the standard version for new construction.
I started working on apartment designs when I realized that most people don't want to live in houses with fixed layouts. They prefer apartments that can be expanded or shrunk as their lives change. This influenced me to create plans with flexibile space-using systems that could be easily modified by the buyer or owner.
My first apartment plan was released in 2004. It was based on research I did into how people want to live today. I wanted to give myself some flexibility while still providing lots of room. The Rectangle was developed from this research. In addition to the standard one-bedroom version, I also created a two-bedroom plan called the Triangular. There were several reasons for creating this special version including demand from builders who wanted something different than the usual square footage configuration. The Triangular has three bedrooms and one bath upstairs and a kitchen/living room combo downstiars. It's very spacious and easy to maintain due to its compact layout.
Since then, I've continued to refine my skills and techniques and have become one of the best apartment designers in the country.
With curving seating and walls in a spacious central living space, a modern kitchen, a large contemporary bathroom with whirlpool tub, and beautiful oak features in the master bedroom and wardrobe, this one-bedroom apartment appears like something from the future. Really distinct! Futuristic design does not necessarily have to be extreme. It can be simple and clean without being boring or conventional.
The apartment has an open plan design with white walls, wooden floors, and lots of glass. There is one huge room where all the amenities are located: a dining area, a kitchen with a dishwasher, a laundry room, a broom closet, and a small storage room. The bed is located in the center of the room next to a window. Directly opposite the bed is a sofa that converts into a double bed. To the left of the entrance is another window that looks out onto a communal garden area. This is also the spot where the washer and dryer are located.
In addition to the one-bedroom apartment, there is a two-bedroom apartment available. It is similar but even more spacious. In fact, it could almost be called a "family home" because it has four bedrooms and three bathrooms (including a spa). Of course, only one of the rooms is actually used as a bedroom because it's so big that you could never really sleep alone in it.
A floor plan may be created in a few simple steps:
The qualities of this early furniture were heavily influenced by ancient Egyptian furniture, with a rigid, rectangular, and ugly design. Once the Greeks created their own style in the fourth and fifth century, furniture became less square and stiff and more curved and flowing. This new style was also used extensively in Roman times.
The Egyptians built the first furniture about 9500 B.C., but it wasn't until about 3500 B.C. that people began making furniture in what we would call modern styles. By 500 B.C., the Chinese were making furniture similar to what we make today, using wood as the main material and including designs that would later become popular throughout Asia and Europe.
Furniture has been an important part of our lives for thousands of years. It provides us with a place to sit and a way to protect ourselves from the elements. In today's world, furniture is also one of the most expensive items to replace. So it makes sense that people would want to save money by recycling old furniture.
In conclusion, furniture has been an important part of everyone's life for hundreds of years. First invented by the Egyptians, it has gone through many changes over time. But no matter how it changes or what kind of furniture you make, just remember: any piece of furniture can be recycled!
To begin designing your own house, make a list of your must-have features, such as bay windows or a huge kitchen. Then, create a preliminary draft of the floor plan that incorporates all of the desired elements. Use 3-D imaging software such as Home Designer Suite to recreate your rough sketch on the computer. You can also use printed floor plans to get an idea of how a room will look before starting construction.
Once you have an idea of what you want your home to look like, find a licensed architect or designer who is experienced with building homes similar to yours. This person will be able to help translate your ideas into reality by making suggestions about materials and methods to achieve your vision while remaining within your budget. If you prefer, you can also choose to design and build your own house. However, this is not recommended for first-time builders due to the amount of knowledge required to construct a quality home.
After you have created a complete list of everything you would like included in your home, including dimensions, styles, and amenities, your architect or designer should be able to provide guidance on which types of building materials will work best in your situation along with recommendations for any other professionals needed to bring your dream home vision to life.
If you already have a home design concept in mind, start by creating a detailed drawing of the specific features you would like to include.
Viewing numerous modest contemporary house designs and floor plans is the greatest approach to get started with the planning process. Make a note of the elements you like, and don't forget to think about if a similar arrangement would work with the form of your plot. You may also want to look at houses in the area that have already been built to get an idea of what's possible on your property.
Once you've selected a design that works for you, the next step is to make a list of everything that will be needed to build it. This might include items as simple as lumber and nails, but it could also include things such as heating and air-conditioning systems, water pipes, and electric circuits. If you aren't sure about anything else, ask your builder or local home improvement store for advice. They should be able to help you find the materials you need.
After you know what needs to be done, set time aside each day to work on a specific aspect of the project. For example, if you plan to use lumber from my website, pick out a few designs and see which one looks best with your site. Once you find the right combination, move onto the next part of the project.
If you are working with a team, divide up the tasks between everyone. If you are doing most of the work yourself, mark each step along the way so you don't miss any details.
